Miami Heat small forward LeBron James recently revealed that he doesn't see himself leaving Miami. He is able to opt out of his contract with the Heat after the 2014 season and become a free agent.
According to The Associated Press, James talked about his future in an interview with NBA TV. Although he doesn't see himself leaving at the moment, James still plans to ponder his future at the end of the season.
James said that Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Kevin Durant motivates him, according to FOX Sports. James explained that he's "next in line" and "loves the way he plays the game."
James also discussed other topics in his interview, including the aftermath of the 2011 NBA Finals when the Heat lost to the underdog Dallas Mavericks. James reportedly went into isolation for two whole weeks until teammate Dwyane Wade reached out to him.
They took a trip to the Bahamas together and discussed their Finals performances, and LeBron vowed to improve himself. He did just that by leading the Heat to two consecutive NBA titles.
The Heat are looking to defend their title by winning a third consecutive championship before they attempt to keep James in Miami.
