Starz has announced that the premium cable network is teaming up with NBA superstar LeBron James to produce a new comedy series.

The series is called Survivor's Remorse and will be six episodes long, reports The Associated Press. The half-hour comedy show will be shot in Atlanta.

James has signed on as an executive producer, alongside Paul Wachter, Maverick Carter, Mike O'Malley and Tom Werner. Werner has been involved in classic shows, such as Roseanne and the Cosby Show.

According to HitFix, Survivor's Remorse will follow basketball player Cam Calloway who snags a large contract from a team in Atlanta. He moves out there with his cousin joining him. Evidently he won't be playing for the Atlanta Hawks.

O'Malley spoke about the show saying, "Ever since I got cut from the freshman hoop team ... I've wanted to write about my love and hatred of basketball." He added, "Starz has given us great freedom to explore an authentic world inspired by Maverick and LeBron."
