After less than three months of publicly announcing their engagement, Leighton Meester, 27, and Adam Brody, 34, married in a secret wedding. Brody was even spotted wearing a simple wedding band, while leaving a gym in L.A.
The couple met during the 2011 film The Oranges and "were always close and friendly," said an insider. It was not until November of 2013 a source told Us Weekly, that the Gossip Girl star and O.C. alum were secretly engaged.
E! Online reported the couple were seen over the weekend relaxing at Mexico’s St. Regis Punta Mita Resort just weeks after Meester was reported to have her bachelorette party at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood.
This is the first marriage for both stars. However, Meester has previously dated Sebastion Stan and Aaron Himelstin and her new husband, Brody, has been linked to O.C. co-star Rachel Bilson and director Lorene Scafari.
