Friends alum Lisa Kudrow has lost in her $1.6 million civil lawsuit brought against her by ex-manager Scott Howard.

According to ABC News, a court decision of 10-2 was ruled in Howard's favor stating that Kudrow was liable for breach of contract. Howard served as Kudrow's manager for over 16 years, and he jury awarded him $1.6 million for past and future economic losses. The legal dispute started six years ago in 2008 when Howard sued Kudrow for $50,000 in fees from her income. Last week, Howard said in court that in 1991, he and Kudrow made an oral agreement that Howard would earn a 10 percent cut of Kudrow's salary she earned or achieved while he served as her manager. Howard also claims that after he and Kudrow ended their working relationship, Kudrow stopped paying him and that she owes him a cut of the money she made from Friends and other ventures.

Deadline reports that Kudrow plans to appeal the verdict. Gerald Sauer, who is Kudrow's lawyer states that the verdict from the jury is only the beginning of the legal procedure and that "case ultimately will be resolved at the appellate level."
