On Feb. 4, the girls of Little Mix made an appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America.

Before appearing on the television show, the girl learned that their second album Salute which dropped in the United States today climbed into the number one spot on the digital sales charts.

Little Mix arrived in the United States earlier this week in order to support Demi Lovato’s upcoming tour Neon Lights.

Once the record hit number one, label boss Simon Cowell, took to twitter to show his support.

“I have just been told that the new little mix album is number one on the us iTunes album chart,” he wrote. “That is bloody fantastic. Congratulations.”

Their last album, DNA hit Number 4 on the 2013 Billboard 200.

During their Good Morning America appearance Little Mix performed songs, “Wings” and “Move.”

Also, with Perrie Edwards being engaged to One Direction’s Zayn Malik, she couldn’t escape any engagement questions.

She explained that due to the couple’s busy schedules they have not settled on a date yet.

“No dates yet,” Edwards said. “We’re very busy but we’ll get there soon.”
