Mariah Carey gave a revealing interview to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, saying she fires her twins’ nannies quite often and that she never agreed to the children’s books being released with her husband, Nick Cannon.
The Art of Letting Go singer said once she sees that one of her nannies is trying to make herself more important in her kids’ eyes, she lets them go.
"Unfortunately I have to have nannies but I'm very hands-on. I fire nannies like this [snapping her fingers]," she explained, ABC News reports. "And I hate doing it but I have to, because if they try to make themselves more important in the babies' minds than me, [she has to fire them]."
Furthermore, she discussed plans that were announced recently that she and Cannon would be writing a Christmas book called Roc and Roe's Twelve Days of Christmas, based on their twins wins Moroccan and Monroe.
“I have not agreed to those terms. Nick [Cannon, her husband] jumps the gun,” she said. “He jumps the gun and that's all I'm going to say. I'm not ready to talk about any babies books or anything like that."
Carey also touched on other topics such as her new album and her stint on American Idol.
