Bassist of the UK pop band McFly, Dougie Poynter, signed with Storm Model Management.
After attending a party held by Storm Model Management earlier this week, it seems that Poynter will be following some of his friends down the runway, like Cara Delevingne.
When he is not playing bass with his band McFly or their latest creation- the super group McBusted, Poynter can be found working on his clothing Saint Kidd. Perhaps that’s where the idea of modeling stemmed.
On Feb. 18, Storm Model Management tweeted out the news of Poynter officially joining the team.

A Storm Model Management representative also spoke to Harper’s Bazaar UK about the new addition.
“We are really excited to be working with Dougie Poynter through our Storm Artists divison,” they said. “The talent division at Storm also works with A-list names from the world of film and music to create exciting opportunities within the fashion industry. Dougie will join a prestigious client roster which includes other bands, DJs and musicians.”
Apparently the team at Storm is not the only people excited to see what Poynter will be up to. According to Contact Music, a source spoke with the Daily Mail Newspaper their thoughts about Poynter’s modeling career.
“Dougie has got great style, and he’s really caught the eye of some top scouts,” the source said. “His career looks like it will really take off in the future.”
