The Associated Press and media outlets are asking a judge to release video of Justin Bieber after his arrest in Miami. The singer’s attorneys have asked that the videos remain kept from the public, but the media says that there is no reason for them to be kept sealed. Meanwhile, the Biebs assured his fans that he’s hard at work and doing what he can to “get better.”
The AP reports that there will be a hearing about the police videos today. Bieber’s attorneys have asked the Miami-Dade County judge to keep the tapes sealed until they can look them over. But the media has said that there isn’t a legal bias to grant the attorneys’ request.
Bieber was allegedly involved in a drag race and was also charged with DUI and driving with an expired license. Although his arraignment date was set for Valentine’s Day, his attorneys put in a not guilty plea on his behalf on Jan. 29.
Meanwhile, Bieber has been busy on Twitter. He told his fans that he’s practicing his guitar playing and dance moves. “Always working to get better. Work hard. Be great.”

Last week, a source close to Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette, told E! News that she’s “genuinely concerned” for her son.
“It's so hard to see people's opinions and accusations when they don't know her,” the source told the site of Mallette. “If she is with Justin, she is accused of endorsing or enabling him, yet if they find out she is not with him, they accuse her for not being with her own child in a time like this.”
