President of the Miami Marlins, David Samson, was the first person voted off the show Survivor this season.

Survivor is a popular reality game show where contestants decide to outwit, outplay, and outlast opponents. The teams are divided into three categories: Brawn, Brains, and Beauty. This year their 28th season takes place in the province of the Philippines.

Samson was a member of the “Brains” team, according to Entertainment Weekly. Brains teammate, Garrett Adelstein, was one of the first people to vote David Samson off the island. Adelstein told the Associated Press, "David is a strategic threat to all of us, but we vote together. David's going to go home and we're all going to feel better. As far as I'm concerned, the biggest threat is David. He's very intelligent. I do think he's a schemer."

Samson, 46, was voted off with four votes from his tribe. Samson said that he had no regrets about his performance on the show. He wished no hard feelings to any of his teammates.
