Though his show might be off the air, Michael J. Fox won't be for long as he will be reprising his role on CBS' The Good Wife.
Fox will return to the show for several episodes during a season-ending arc, TVLine has confirmed. Fox plays Louis Canning, who is an antagonist for The Good Wife's Alicia.
During the Television Critics Association winter press tour, The Good Wife co-creator Robert King mentioned they were trying to get Fox back. "We're trying to make that work." But King felt confident Fox would return as filming was done on the actor's NBC show.
Fox's The Michael J. Fox Show at NBC has finally been cancelled at NBC after struggling through its first season with low ratings. The show faced an uphill battle from the get go and its most recent ratings have the show only managing a 0.7 in the advertiser important 18-49 demographic.
The show is being pulled from the air, despite all 22 episodes of the show having been filmed.
To replace the hole in NBC's Thursday night schedule where The Michael J. Fox Show and the already-cancelled Sean Saves the World sat, will be episodes of Jane Lynch's Hollywood Game Night.
