Kate Major, the girlfriend of Lindsay Lohan’s father, Michael Lohan, said that he really did not threaten to kill her, even though she told police otherwise.

TMZ reported earlier today that on Monday, Major and Lohan got in a domestic dispute and police were called. Major sent a barrage of tweets in the heat of the moment, claiming that Lohan threatened to take their infant son and threatened her with a knife. TMZ’s sources said that Lohan was the one who called 911, saying that Major was acting erratic and locked herself in a room at their Boca Raton, Fla. home.

“My fiancée is getting crazy again, and she's threatening to hurt herself again,” Lohan says on the 911 tape, notes the Daily News. “She's like losing it,” he later added.

TMZ later reported that the police report showed that Major told police Lohan accused her of drinking with the baby around, which sparked the fight.

However, Major is now backing away from the tweets she managed to send during the incident. “I regretfully tweeted while my emotions were high that I was being threatened by Michael with a knife, this was not the case,” she told TMZ.

Major also told her 38,800 Twitter followers, “I should not have tweeted anything. This has all turned into a whirlwind. I'm sorry.”

Major and Lohan welcomed their baby boy in January 2013. Lohan has four children with his ex-wife Dina, including actress Lindsay Lohan. It was also recently revealed during a TV show that he is the father of 17-year-old Ashley Horn.
