On this week’s episode of New Girl entitled “Sister II” Jess and the gang deal with the addition of Abby to the loft. While the guys seem to be embracing the new roommate with open arms, Jess is a bit hesitant about the situation.

The first scene opens up with the guys and Abby playing a new game they like to call “Sky Knife.” Jess strolls into the room blissfully unaware of the dozen knives sticking into the ceiling as she chats about seeing an eagle. Suddenly, one of the knives falls from the ceiling and Nick swoops in just in time to save Jess from Abby’s sadistic game.

Shortly after, Jess recognizes that they have a problem, and it’s Abby. She explains to the guys everything that Abby is ruining in the apartment, “She destroyed my sunflower painting with a picture of a penis!”

Just after Jess addresses the Abby issue, Abby announces that she would like to move in permanently. Jess immediately starts scheming a way to get Abby out, and turns to Nick for his help. Nick refuses, arguing “You can’t lie to a liar, it don’t flyyyy!” Despite his discomfort with lying Jess convinces Nick to babysit Abby while she goes apartment hunting for her problematic sister.

Meanwhile, Winston is awaiting and avoiding his results from his police exam. He flees to the gym to dodge the daunting results of his test. Coach immediately calls him out on his actions, but Winston lingers completely in denial.

To distract Abby from Jess’s apartment hunting scheme, Nick takes her to the Peterson Automotive Museum where his theory about liars comes to light. Abby recognizes the situation, stating “Jess is making you babysit me,” she then demands to know what is going on, as she climbs on the nearest collectible car to persuade him. Nick then blurts out the truth, and an angry Abby continues to climb all over the collectible cars.

Jess is determined to find the safest, quietest, blandest apartment imaginable for Abby. While on an apartment tour with Cece, she asks the realtor a variety of questions regarding night life, single men, etc. She makes it clear that if there are any single men ages 16 to 72 the apartment simply will not work for her troublemaking sister.

As the museum tour guide screams at Abby, Nick calls in reinforcements. Schmidt quickly appears a the scene, “No one deals with crazy girls like I do, crazy girls are like my hurt locker.” Schmidt takes a deep breath and approaches the “crazy girl” scene. “Hey Abby, look at me, do you want to go get a taco?” and with that Abby quickly agrees jumping off the car.

Back at the gym, Winston continues to avoid his test results. As Winston forces Coach to train him he takes away the time of a very valuable client of Coach’s...a hot girl. Frustrated, Coach then goes into Winston’s phone and reads his results aloud, announcing that Winston failed.

Things are getting weird back at the loft, and Nick is unlucky enough to walk in on it. A bug-eyed Nick is taken aback by the scene he stumbles on. In the kitchen, Schmidt is tied up at the ankles and wrists as he lies on kitchen counter with an apple in his mouth, much like a roasted hog. Abby casually makes chocolate fondue in the kitchen donning Schmidt’s kimono. The two of them make it clear that they are getting sexually involved with each other and leave Nick with more lies to work through.

When Jess gets home, Nick is strung out on the weird situation. As Jess tells Nick about the apartment she found, she asks where her sister is. A nervous Nick stutters, “She’s sleeping, sleeping by herself...which is napping.” In attempts to fix the current situation Nick then suggests that they set Abby up with Schmidt, but Jess assures him that Abby would destroy Schmidt.

Winston sulks alongside Coach at a coffee shop, when Coach suggests that Winston apply there. When Winston speaks with the manager he is extremely awkward, and finds that he did not fill out his entire application. It’s as if suddenly a fire is ignited and Winston remembers that he didn’t finish the other side of his test. He then looks to the manager who asked him about his weaknesses, “I’m not an idiot I’m just careless! and that’s my greatest weakness you bitch.”

Jess’s web of lies only grows as her plan to evict Abby expands. She decides to coerce Abby into moving out over dinner conversation. Jess even writes lines for Nick who is unable to perform, despite claiming to be “au natural, au casual.”

Unaware that Abby knows about her plan, Jess busts out her acting chomps at dinner and Nick struggles to keep up with the charade. Abby mocks the situation by overly flirting and touching Schmidt. Nick whispers “Stop touching him Abby!” to which Abby retorts “What did you say? Touch him more?”

By this time, Jess is utterly confused and asks what’s going on.

“I told Abby about the apartment and now she’s giving Schmidt a special” Nick blurts out, exhausted from his day of betrayal. He suggests that everything would be better if Abby and Jess were honest with one another, and then the honesty comes pouring out.

Abby claims that Jess only wants to fix people because she thinks she is better than everyone, and Jess argues that Abby doesn’t think or care about other people like she does. Amidst the honest conversation, Nick gets caught up and yells at Abby, “You’re a garbage person and you should live in a dumpster with rotten snails!” Everyone agrees he went too far.

Abby then announces that she will be moving out, and moving in with Schmidt. The two of them start to leave, and Schmidt asks to borrow Jess’s glasses. “We’re going to role play as you guys! She’s going to be him and I’m going to be you.”

At the police precinct, Winston and Coach ask if Winston can finish his test. They then realize that the test was on the computer, therefore it was impossible for Winston not to fill out the back. Coach offers a bizarre pep talk, “You failed man! You fail hard at everything!” Coach tells Winston that this is rock bottom, and that he can only go up from here. Winston then decides to retake the exam.
