Netflix series like House of Cards are great in numerous ways, specifically because it allows viewers to watch beloved shows around their busy schedules and at a personal pace.

There is always a downside, though, and this time it’s involves the kind of social media posts that make you want to gouge your eyes out—spoilers. When watching shows at a personal pace, or missing your favorite Olympic sport because of a family obligation, there is always the chance of scrolling down your twitter feed and seeing the ultimate spoiler that makes your blood boil—we’ve all been there.

Instead of becoming a resentful and negative human being, allow yourself to enjoy the services of Spoiler Shield, an app that restrains TV shows and sports spoilers from your social media feed. Presented last Fall, the app allows users to blocks spoilers from the Olympics and soon, the Oscars, as reported in GQ

The app covers several TV shows such as House of Cards, How I Met Your Mother, Game of Thrones The Americans, True Detectives and The Walking Dead, according to USA Today.

The wondrous app that is Spoiler Shield, costs nothing and is available for both Android and Apple users. After the download, the only downfall seems to be that in order to be “shielded” from spoilers, users must use it instead of Twitter, which can be tough. It is a small price to pay, though, in order to remain free of the ending of your favorite show when you can’t get to a TV until after work.
