The latest trailer for Mike Judge's upcoming HBO series Silicon Valley is up on YouTube, shedding some more light on the actual plot of the series moreso than the short teaser.

As Screen Rant notes, the series is based loosely on Judge's own experiences working in the tech start-up culture of Northern California. Judge has riffed on many aspects of American life in his past forays into film in television, notably including the workplace satire Office Space and long running animated series King of the Hill.

The series follows a group of computer programmers struggling to make it on their own with a new tech company, and features a slew of lesser known comedy alums including Martin Starr, Thomas Middleditch, T.J. Miller, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Josh Brenner, Christopher Evan Welch, and Amanda Crew.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Middleditch stars as an introverted programmer (who apparently believes Steve Jobs was "a poser"), living in a hacker hostel with a few friends.

From the trailer, it seems that Middleditch's character is in over his head when his start-up takes off, and he denies enormous offers to buy his company from him to work on the company with his friends.

The series, a collaboration between Judge and Alec Berg, premieres at 10 p.m. on April 6.
