One of Nickelodeon’s most famous teen stars Drake Bell is reportedly filing for bankruptcy. The 26 year-old is best known for his work on the Nickelodeon show Drake and Josh, but he is now in the news for his financial problems. According to TMZ, Bell made over $400,000 in 2012, but made less than $15,000 the following year.
Court documents have come to reveal that Bell brings in close to $3,000 a month but his expenses are close to $20,000. It has also been revealed that Bell owes bad taxes as well as being over half a million dollars in debt.
Bell has listed his house in Los Angeles for around $1.5 million in May, but it has been later reported that his home is now in the process of foreclosures. People is reporting that Bell has several movies in production including Shuffle and L.A. Slasher. The past few years Bell has been apart of several TV movies as well as doing voiceover work.
Bell could not be reached for comment on his current situation, but he revealed last month that he would be open to do another Drake & Josh movie and has asked fans to use their social media accounts to demand a new movie be made as soon as possible.
