Oscar nominees flocked to the glamorous luncheon hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences on Monday.

It’s an auspicious day when so many of Hollywood’s A-list celebrities are gathered in one room. This year’s luncheon boasted attendance from Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, and Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, and Martin Scorsese, among others. The spectacular event was held at the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton.

It’s likely that over a billion people could be watching the star-studded event in March. This year, Neil Meron and Craig Zadan will be producing the Oscars. Ellen DeGeneres will host. Zadan told The Hollywood Reporter, Zadan said, “She's going to be bringing her specific brand of comedy with her, which we all love.

Musicians making a splash at the Academy Awards also attended the luncheon. Pharrell Williams, who will be performing the song, “Happy,” at the Academy Awards, made an appearance at the luncheon. According to The Wrap, Bono said from the luncheon that U2 will bring their music and style to the awards this year.

The 86th Annual Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre on March 2.
