Pharrell Williams, who made headlines for the huge hat he wore to the Grammys, has been announced as a performer at this year’s Academy Awards.

The singer, songwriter and producer will be performing his Oscar-nominated song “Happy,” off of the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack.

According to USA Today, Academy Award producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron made the announcement on Tuesday.

Williams is up against U2's “Ordinary Love” from Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, “Let It Go” from Frozen and “The Moon Song” by Karen O. from the film Her, for best original song.

Washington Post notes Williams is fresh off of four Grammy wins, including producer of the year. He’s had a string of successful songs in addition to “Happy,” like “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke and T.I. as well as “Get Lucky” with Daft Punk.

The nominees for this year’s Oscars were announced just last month and the broadcast will air live on ABC on March 2 with Ellen DeGeneres as host.
