Philip Seymour Hoffman leaves estate to mother of their three children

Philip Seymour Hoffman has left all his personal property to the mother of his three children as the will was made public Wednesday.

The will, written in 2004, identifies costume designer, Marianne “Mimi” O’Donnell as the sole beneficiary and goes on to call her Hoffman’s friend and companion reported the Associated Press.

At the time the will was written, O’Donnell and Hoffman had son Cooper who is now 10 years old. The will asked that Cooper be raised in New York City so that he be exposed to its culture and art. However if this were not possible Chicago and San Francisco were also named according to New York Post. Despite spending much time in Los Angeles as an actor, the city was not mentioned. Cooper will inherit his trust in full at 30 as stated by the will.

Following the writing of the will, Hoffman and O’Donnell had two more children, Talluhla and Wilma.

Hoffman died on Feb. 2 in his New York City home of a drug overdose.
