Piers Morgan is responding to his critics on Twitter about his CNN show Piers Morgan Live being canceled. One of the biggest reasons, in his opinion, that his viewership dropped so much was because he’s a British man hammering away at American issues, specifically gun control.

The network has said there’s no official date for when the show will end, so the show will continue to air. This prompted Morgan to tell the NRA, “I'm not done with you yet.”

He’s also been responding to those who are happy to see him go.

Fox News reports Morgan’s resume includes co-judging on Britain's Got Talent and its American counterpart, America's Got Talent. He was also an editor of the UK’s The Daily Mirror from 1995 to 2004.

He confirmed his firing in an interview with New York Times, saying Piers Morgan Live “took a bath in the ratings.”

“Look, I am a British guy debating American cultural issues, including guns, which has been very polarizing, and there is no doubt that there are many in the audience who are tired of me banging on about it,” he said. “That’s run its course and Jeff and I have been talking for some time about different ways of using me.”
