On this week’s episode of Pretty Little Liars, Spencer dealt with her quick addiction to drugs, Emily continued her search for Ali, Hanna played detective and Aria continued to be naïve about her relationship with Ezra, her teacher.

Emily:

Even though we’ve been taught not to true Shana, Emily spent the entire episode working with her. Turns out that Ali needs something that was behind a painting in her room but Shana couldn’t get in to get it. The envelope was hidden in a photo of twins. Hmmmm… I wonder why Ali had a picture of twins in her room.

When she got it, it turns out that it was an envelope of money. She called Shana to give it to her but Shana was at swim practice. So Emily kept it with her and Shana never showed up.

The girls wondered why Ali needed all of that money. But, I was just wondering where she got all of that money.

Hanna:
Does anyone else think it is weird that Hanna is getting flirty with Gabe, the Wilden-replacement cop? Sure they have a little bit of chemistry but- dude- what is with these older guys? In this episode, Hanna is worried about Spencer. She thinks that something is wrong with her but can’t quite figure out that she is on drugs.

Hanna does a stake out with Emily outside of Spencer’s house because, when they called her, she lied about where she was. Hanna finally follows Spencer and figures out that Spencer thinks that Ezra is A. And that leads us to…

Spencer:

Spencer was full on crazy this episode. She was hyped up on pills. She was busy gathering evidence to the fact that Ezra was A. If I were in the situation, I wouldn’t believe it either and I would try to find any proof that I could.

When Spencer showed up to school, Ezra approached her about how she was hiding something. It turns out that she had been sloppy with her work and had copied an entire paragraph from Wikipedia for one of her research papers. Oops. He thought that she was on drugs because he got her file and say that she had ADHD tendencies.

Spencer also approached a drug dealer and paid $50 for five more pills. Come on guys, really? Open drug deals in a high school? Seriously?

Also, there is an old phrase that they teach in high school drug programs, “it only takes one.” For Spencer, it really only took one.

She finally decides to go explore Ezra’s apartment and gets caught by Hanna. When they’re talking about going in, they see a camera in the vent. Spencer, Hanna and Emily meet at Spencer’s and talk about the fact that it is crazy that Ezra would be A.

Aria:

Aria spends most of her time with Ezra. She lies to her friends and tells them that she is going to Syracuse with her father and really she is spending the weekend with Ezra at the murder cabin. Of course, Ezra was super creepy.

He made her nice soup and forgot the chickpeas so she drove an hour to go buy some. She took pictures. They had the talk about how much she hated hiding their relationship from her closest friends.

Ezra said that maybe the fact that Aria was growing closer to him meant that she was growing away from her friends. Aria said that she wanted to be able to tell her friends and the conversation ended.

I think that Ezra might try to lead Aria to his side. He will try to make Aria think that her friends are jealous of their relationship. Or he’ll just murder all of her friends at the cabin.

Or, my favorite theory, Aria and Ezra are A together. That would be awesome.

Ezra:

Ezra is onto the fact that Spencer is onto him. He has mysterious statements to her and looked up her file. But, the creepiest thing he did was send Aria away to get chickpeas and then go into his lair.

When Aria is at the store, Ezra went underground and found his computer system and he was watching all of the girls. It turns out that there were pictures of them on the computer and video. The only one missing was Aria.

Elsewhere:

-A drugged Shana and told her to leave Rosewood.
-Ali is broke and needed the money because she can’t hide anymore. At the end of the episode she gets onto a bus headed to nowhere.
-Cece is still missing and the cops are still looking. Good job cops!

Next episode is in black and white!
