During his Virginia tour stop, Robin Thicke opened up to his audience about his split from wife of eight years, Paula Patton.
While performing at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia, Thicke told the crowd he’s trying to get her back.
"For y'all that don't know me and my wife separated, but I'm trying to get my girl back. She's a good woman,” he said, TMZ reports. He also sang “Lost Without U” to Patton, a song he said he wrote for her.
Thicke, 36, who has a 3-year-old son with Patton, is still wearing his wedding ring, making it clear he doesn’t want their marriage to end.
Patton, however, was photographed at LAX this week without her wedding ring, MTV News reports.
Despite canceling the first two appearances on his tour, he’s back at it and ready to work. He said in a statement following their split, "I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me. I'm looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington DC this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!"
