Chris Kattan, a comedian who appeared on Saturday Night Live, was arrested for DUI in Encino, California Monday morning.
Around 2 a.m. this morning, Kattan allegedly hit a Department of Transportation maintenance truck on the 101 Freeway. He was going westbound on Ventura Freeway, the California Highway Patrol said, reports CBS Los Angeles. The crash was reported by a 911 caller, who said a “Mercedes was weaving all over the roadway at slow speeds.”
Kattan, 43, was not injured in the crash and no one else was hurt. There was reportedly no one in the DOT truck. TMZ’s sources say that he admitted to be using prescription drugs and the site’s sources say that he was not cited for alcohol. He was booked at the Van Nuys Jail for DUI.
Kattan was on SNL from 1996 to 2003 and has appeared on several episodes of ABC’s The Middle. He’s also been in movies, including Undercover Brother, Corky Romano and A Night at the Roxbury.
