Rachel Dratch has signed on to be a part of the upcoming project, Grief of Others. Dratch is known for her work on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. Also attached to Grief of Others are Wendy Moniz and Trevor St. John.
Patrick Wang will be directing Grief of Others from his own screenplay, Variety reported.
Grief of Others tells the story based on the novel by Leah Hager Cohen, in which a couple loses their child on a few hours after it is born and how the couple tries to back to a normal life following the death of that child. Moniz and St. John will be playing the couple.
Other actors cast in the upcoming project include, Oona Laurence, Jeremy Shinder, Sonya Harum and Mike Faist.
Wang will also be producing the film with Jim Cummings, Erich Lochner, Matt Miller and Ben Wiessner.
Dratch will also be seen on Feb. 24 at the Edison Ballroom taking part in the Starry Vineyard Theatre tribute to Dory Previn, Playbill added.
