Scott Bakula, known for his work on Quantum Leap, will star in a new spinoff of NCIS.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show takes place near an NCIS office in New Orleans. Bakula will play NCIS Special Agent Pride. The show takes place in the colorful area surrounding New Orleans.
Bakula earned an Emmy nomination for his role in the HBO movie, Behind the Candelabra. He has been seen on the small screen in Family Guy, Desperate Housewives, Two and a Half Men, and Looking. Bakula was a favorite on the show, Quantum Leap. He won a Golden Globe for Best Actor for his work on the television series, Quantum Leap. Quantum Leap was a popular show about a scientist who finds himself trapped in time. The show debuted in 1989 and ran until 1993.
According to Variety, Gary Glasberg will serve as the executive producer of the new series. Mark Harmon, star of the original NCIS will also serve as executive producer. NCIS is a show about the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. Mark Harmon has starred as Leroy Jethro Gibbs.
The spinoff featuring Bakula will air in the spring.
