Several reports stated that Shayne Lamas was in a coma, however the truth is that she is a Southern California hospital after her husband found in collapsed in their home-she had had a miscarriage.
Doctors found that Lamas was bleeding internally around her uterus, and had to do emergency surgery. While the operation was going on, Lamas lost her baby, which would have been her second child, according to E Online.
A representative told People that "Shayne is aware of her condition and that her family and her husband are here with her and love her so much. She will be remaining in the hospital until her doctors determine that she can be released.”
Lamas gained fame when she appeared on The Bachelor on the 12th season. Lamas and Nik Ritchie married in 2010 and had their first child, Press, in November 11, 2011.
Ritchie wrote a personal message on his website, TheDirty.com letting fans know that he would be taking a break from the blogging world to be with his wife, who is “my good person. She is my support and my smile. I found you and I never want to let you go.”
