Shia LaBeouf leaves press conference and wears paper bag during the Berlin Film Festival for the film Nymphomaniac on Sunday.
According to The Bellingham Herald, LaBeouf wore a paper bag over his face with eyeholes and the words “I am not famous anymore” written on the front along with a tuxedo to the red carpet event.
The actor has been saying that same line on his Twitter account for weeks.
Before the red carpet stunt, LaBeouf surprisingly storms out of the press conference after answering one question about the film.
The Hollywood Reporter says the answer was, “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much,” which is from the French soccer legend Eric Cantona in the work Looking for Eric.
The night previous to the press conference, he went after three young men as they were taking his picture at the Ritz-Carlton lounge, writes The Hollywood Reporter.
LaBeouf has exhibited unusual behavior over the last few months with his “performance art” and his Twitter statement of his retirement from the public.
