LaBeouf's recent change in behavior was on full display at the 64th Berlinale International Film Festival on Sunday.
After he announced last month on his Twitter that he was "retiring from all public life", head-butted a man in a London bar, and showed other strange behavior, he continued the pattern in Berlin on Sunday as he promoted his new film, 'Nymphomaniac, Volume One'.
According to USA Today, during a press conference Sunday afternoon, LaBeouf answered only one question, and then dramatically stormed off the stage, and did not return during the rest of the conference. He then showed up to the premier Sunday night wearing a bag over his head with two eye holes that read 'I am not famous anymore', and statement that he has repeatedly tweeted since the middle of January.
At the press conference, when a reported asked about a sex scene in the film, LaBeouf replied, "when the seagulls follow the trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much," and then proceeded to walk off the stage. The quote originally comes from French soccer player Eric Cantona, according to The Washington Post.
