Showtime has chosen to renew two popular shows for this season. The network has ordered another season for Shameless and House of Lies. Each show will be creating 12 new episodes.

Shameless features William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum. The show is about an alcoholic man who lives in a perpetual stupor. The show has been nominated for Joan Cusack for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show brought in 1.83 million viewers when it began its fourth season in January.

Showtime has also renewed House of Lies. Don Cheadle stars in the popular show about a group of consultants at an elite firm. Cheadle stars with Kristen Bell and Ben Schwartz in the show that will begin its fourth season. Cheadle has been a hit with fans and critics on House of Lies, bringing in a Golden Globe in 2014 for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Comedy.

Both Shameless and House of Lies air on Sunday nights on Showtime, according to TV Guide. Showtime is cancelling the comedy, Californication, which begins its last season in April.
