Another day of the Sochi Winter Olympics have passed. Today was a busy day for medals, and three more countries have entered board. Here is the current medal count for Feb. 11.
Norway shot to the top of the list with 11 medals in total. Today they earned a Silver from Tora Berger in the Biathlon: Women's 10 km Pursuit, a Gold and Silver from Maiken Caspersen Falla and Ingvild Flugstad Oestberg respectively in Cross-Country: Ladies' Sprint Free, and a Gold from Ola Vigen Hattestad in Cross-Country: Men's Sprint Free.
Canada now has 9 medals after earning a Gold from Dara Howell and a Bronze from Kim Lamarre in Freestyle Skiing: Ladies' Ski Slopestyle.
Germany now has 5 medals after earning a Gold from Natalie Geisenberger and a Silver from Tatjana Huefner in Luge: Women's Singles, and a Gold from Carina Vogt in Ski Jumping: Ladies' Normal Hill Individual.
The Netherlands added a Bronze from Margot Boer in Speed Skating: Ladies' 500 m, increasing their medal count to 8.
The United States now have 7 medals after earning a Silver from Devin Logan in Freestyle Skiing: Ladies' Ski Slopestyle, and a Bronze from Erin Hamlin in Luge: Women's Singles, making her the first American to medal in that sport.
Switzerland earned their second Gold medal from Iouri Podladtchikov in Snowboarding: Men's Halfpipe.
Russia now has 7 medals after earning a Silver from Olga Fatkulina in Speed Skating: Ladies' 500 m.
Austria now has 4 medals after earning a Silver from Daniela Irashkostolz in Ski Jumping: Ladies' Normal Hill Individual.
France earned a Bronze from Coline Mattel in Ski Jumping: Ladies' Normal Hill Individual, increasing their medal count to 3.
Belarus earned their first medal today, a Gold from Darya Domracheva in the Biathlon: Women's 10 km Pursuit.
Korea also earned their first medal today, a Gold from Sang Hwa Lee in Speed Skating: Ladies' 500 m.
Sweden added a Silver from Teodor Peterson and a Bronze from Emil Joensson in Cross-Country: Men's Sprint Free, increasing their medal count to 4.
Slovenia now has three medals after earning a Bronze from Teja Gregorin in the Biathlon: Women 10 km Pursuit, and another Bronze from Vesna Fabjan in Cross-Country: Ladies' Sprint Free.
Japan entered the board after earning the Silver and Bronze from Ayumu Hirano and Taku Hiraoka respectively in Snowboarding: Men's Halfpipe.
