Stevie Nicks, singer of Fleetwood Mac, has displayed her talents with the mysterious witches on American Horror Story and the musical students on Glee. She’s hoping to move on to a new project, this time involving Game of Thrones.
We now can look at Nicks as a regular, binge television watcher like the rest of us, if only for a second.
Nicks set her eyes on the HBO hit series in 2011 recently after her mother passed away and happened to find it therapeutic with her grieving process and pneumonia, according to Radio.com
"I've written a bunch of poetry about it – one for each of the characters," she said. "I'm always looking for that kind of inspiration, and I’m very inspired by it — as I was very inspired by Twilight,” according to Rolling Stone. She applauds creator George R.R. Martin on his storytelling abilities and talent in creating a colossal series. Khaleesi and Cersei have been dubbed Nicks’ favorites.
Game of Thrones is known for its cameos and musical talents including Sigor Ros, The Hold steady and The National. On Sunday, April 6 at 9 p.m., the hit show returns to HBO. There’s a promise of blood spill, more weddings and even more dragons—if that’s even possible.
