Eva Amurri, actress Susan Sarandon's daughter, has announced that she is pregnant with her first child with husband Kyle Martino.
Amurri's rep confirmed the couple's pregnancy news with People, who was the first to report their exciting news.
Amurri and Martino told the site, "We are so excited to announce that we are expecting our first child together." They added, "Having a family has always been a priority for us both and we couldn't be happier!"
According to ABC News, Amurri, who has appeared on Fox's comedy New Girl, tweeted: "Happy Valentines day to my heart, my hero, my BABYDADDY @kylemartino!!!! I love you so much."
Amurri and Martino have been married since October 2011. People notes that after their wedding, the 28-year-old actress, who has also had roles on How I Met Your Mother and The Mindy Project, expressed excitement about starting a family with her husband.
Not long after, she made good on those comments as Amurri and the 32-year-old former soccer player adopted a rescue dog named Freddie.
