After 65 minutes to play with a tied score, the nerve wracking game headed into a shoot out. The coaches were all reminded that the rules are not the same in Olympic hockey. After 3 rounds of shots, coaches can choose the same player as many times as they want, according to USA Today

After eight nail-biting rounds, T.J. Oshie made four of six goals in the USA overtime against Russia, leading the team to a win.

Jonathan Quick of the Los Angeles Kings, stopped 29 shots in both regulation and over time while Sergei Bobrovski of the Columbus Blue Jackets stopped 32.

The level of intensity remained constant throughout the entire game-- let's hope this holds up for the rest of Olympic hockey.
