Despite Ted Nugent previously claiming he would tone down his comments directed at President Barack Obama and his administration, he did just the opposite and compared the president's healthcare bill and administration to Nazis.
Ted Nugent said the administration were "jackbooted thugs," while talking with Dennis Miller on his radio show, reports The Washington Post. He did add "I don't think he's Adolf Hitler."
He then continued and spoke about how "there was an incrementalism to what happened in Germany ... where they came in slowly and they started -- the power struggle between the different races and the power struggle between different elements of society." Nugent then added that "that's what Obamacare is."
Not one to stop, the rocker also added that the IRS scandal, where it was discovered some Tea Party organizations had gotten a close examination, was also like Germany. Nugent then added he believes that Obama simply "wants to destroy America."
As previously reported, Nugent got into trouble last week after he called President Obama a "subhuman mongrel." He offered a half-apology after many, even Texas Gov. Rick Perry spoke out in disagreement.
