A new mentor has been added to the upcoming season of The Voice. Coach Blake Shelton has named The Band Perry as his mentors for this season. Shelton is back for win number four this season on the hit NBC singing competition.
The ACM nominated, Band Perry will be working with Shelton during season six of the vocal competition. Previous mentors for Team Blake include Michael Bublé, Cher and Sheryl Crow.
Already named as a mentor was Shelton's wife, Miranda Lambert, but she will be working with fellow female coach, Shakira, E! Online reported.
Season six also marks the return of former coaches Shakira and Usher taking the place of Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green.
Shelton has a busy schedule before he returns to the voices. He will be hosting the American Country Music Awards and is nominated for five awards during the evening, Radio News added.
The Voice will be returning to NBC on Monday, Feb. 24, with a two-hour episode of the blind auditions, following the Winter Olympics.
