The latest winner of NBC’s The Biggest Loser, 24-year-old Rachel Frederickson, is sparking concern after losing 155 pounds from the beginning to the end of the show. She started off weighing 260 pounds and now weighs 105.
Many took to Twitter using the hashtag #biggestloser to voice their opinions on how Frederickson looked at the weigh-in during the finale of the show, saying she didn’t look healthy at that weight for her height and body size.
I'm not sure I'm ever watching #biggestloser again. Lasts nights finally was disturbing. VERY disturbing

#Biggestloser - Always inspired me but this finale was disturbing. They need safeguards to insure contestants stay in the healthy BMI range.

The network won’t respond to the criticism, but Frederickson told Today.com that she’s healthy and working on maintaining the weight she’s lost.
“I’m at the maintenance point now so I need to find some balance and make sure I work out and I eat healthy and make good choices 90 percent of the time,” she said. “I’m not sure (I’ll maintain this weight), but I plan to try new exercises and just continue on this path and see where that takes me.”
Frederickson lost 59.62 percent of her body weight during the course of The Biggest Loser. In addition to winning the title, she also won $250,000.
