Callie takes photos, Mariana deals with backlash, and Jesus “bonds” with Emma.
The Adams-Foster gang‘s late to school. While everyone is rushing, Callie stays to ask Lena something. She wonders if she can go to Daphne’s. Lena says no, but they could meet her at the house. Callie nods.
In school, Mariana sees Zach and smiles. He ignores her.
Behind her, Emma taunts Jesus and more flirtatious remarks are made. Once Emma’s gone, Mariana confronts Jesus and reminds him he has a girlfriend. He insists that Emma and him are friends. Mariana turns around and Chase and his “posse” laugh like hyenas at her.
The principal stops by Lena’s office to inform her that Callie needs to get involved. A fire drill rings and as everyone is heading outside, Brandon and his friend, Vico (Fake ID guy) exchange Lena’s keys and try to sneak into the office. Vico can’t because he see’s Stef. She sneaks up on Brandon. They exchange hugs and she wants him to come over. But Brandon is having dinner with Dani and Mike. Stef immediately grills him on her ex’s new relationship. Brandon doesn’t want to get involve, so he leaves.
In Lena’s office, Stef and Lena eat lunch and look at sperm donors. While Stef is bickering about Mike’s girlfriend, Lena chooses an African American donor. After arguing over what donor they want, Stef says, “Whatever you want.”
Outside, Callie and Brandon are trying to have lunch as “friends”, but fail.
Callie sits with Mariana, who can’t believe that Zach is also mad. After telling Callie everything, she says, “I’d be mad too if my date ditched me.” Mariana realizes she was on a date with Zach at the party.
Vico meets with Brandon and hands him his new fake I.D. It’s perfect.
Later, Mariana runs into Zach. She apologizes for ditching him. He exclaims they weren’t on a date, but it still sucked. Boys come up to Mariana. When they walk away, she notices underwear out of their pockets. Over the teasing, she runs up to Chase. He denies it, but Mariana knows he’s lying.
At home, Callie welcomes Kiara and Daphne. We learn independent living is harder then Daphne thought and Kiara has a foster family, thanks to photos Callie took. Callie explains what she’s been up to and about Brandon. During this, Stef walks in. Daphn gets nervous and gets up to leave.
Meanwhile, Brandon and Vico put their I.Ds to the test at a bar. They work! However, Brandon falters on what to order and ends up ordering a girly cocktail. While there, he sees Dani. Awkward.
In the kitchen, Lena and Stef are discussing Callie. Stef thinks she should make friends at school. Speaking of, Callie enters. She tells them about the photo she took of Kiara. She wants to setup a photo session for others, in hopes they’ll find foster families. The Moms love it.
The next morning at Mike’s, Mike says the dinner with Dani has been moved to the Adams-Fosters house, thanks to Brandon blabbing. Brandon asks if Dani were to drink again, would that affect him? Mike reassures that his sobriety is his own issue and no one can affect him.
At school, at a wrestling weigh-in, Jesus is now in Emma’s weight class. A match will commence!
In the halls, a colleague of Lena’s, Timothy, asks for something. Lena agrees and invites him to dinner tonight.
Callie walks to Mariana’s locker. They laugh at their current mistakes (Callie’s relationship with Brandon and Mariana’s panty ordeal). The laughter is cut short when Mariana opens her locker to underwear tumbling down on her. Mariana tries to grab them and dump them into the garbage, but Lena spots her.
At home, Mariana is given the “talk” to her Moms. The right guy will come into her life someday. After a kiss on the head, she leaves. Lena tells Stef that Timothy is coming to dinner. Stef explains that Mike and Dani are coming over, too. Lena is confused because Stef never said that. (Insert my favorite quote of the night, “Just because you think something, doesn’t mean you say it out loud.”) They make a dinner party out of it.
It’s wrestle time! The fight starts off fair, but a “moment” later and Jesus lets Emma win. He congratulates her, but she storms off. She explains when she’s on the mat, she’s equal. Her emotions get the better of her and she kisses him.
That night, Callie, Jude and the others are setting up for the shoot.
It’s dinner time at the house. Lena is going on about Timothy, while Stef is trying to find dirt on Dani.
At the photo shoot, fun pictures are taken…even of Callie. Daphne arrives late and eventually asks to go to the bathroom, which Callie gives her Lena’s keys.
Someone else arrives late: Brandon. He claims he was studying. More compliments about Timothy are said, while Dani refuses wine. After more talk, Stef asks Lena into the kitchen, where she asks about Timothy. Lena wants Timothy to be their donor.
When Mike and Timothy leave the table, Brandon confronts Dani about seeing her. They agree it was a mistake and it’ll never happen again.
The next day in Lena’s office, Timothy walks in, thanking for last night. He’ll gladly be their donor. Their conversation is cut when the principal asks to speak with Lena. Turns out, Kindles were stolen.
In the halls, Mariana hears giggling. She grabs the school newspaper and finds that Zach wrote a terrible review on Chase’s play.
After Callie hears about the Kindles, she confronts Daphne. Daphne gets defensive and claims it was Brandon.
Jesus apologizes to Emma and they kiss. But they don’t do cheating. Jesus realizes he has to breakup with Lexi.
That night, Callie confesses giving Daphne the keys. While Jude and her are looking through the photos, she spots Brandon’s car in the window.
“Brandon was there,” she says.
