The Simpsons have been around for so long, it’s not surprising that they would eventually take the form of Lego’s. Not only will there be a complete set, but the show’s 550th episode will also see the family in Lego form.

According to E! News, The Simpsons episode ‘Brick Like Me’ will air on May 4th and revolves around Homer waking up to find his family and everyone in town have turned into Lego’s. He has to figure out what happened and how to get back home.

As well as the special episode, there is a 2,500 piece Lego set out and it includes The Simpson Family, as well as their neighbor, Ned Flanders, according to E! News.

The Simpsons has been around for generations and will continue to do so, as Fox has picked up the long running show for a 26th season. Not only will Fox be airing the show, but other networks have competed with each other in terms of running episodes, according to Deadline.

Deadline reported that in what is said to be the biggest deal in television history, the cable network FXX landed a deal to air the past 24 seasons of The Simpsons. The 25th season will be added once the 26th season has premiered in the fall of 2014.

This season’s newest episodes of the show will be back on March 9th.
