50 Cent has left Interscope records and is heading to Capitol's Caroline records. 50 Cent has been a part of Interscope records for 12-years and was under Eminem & Shady Records.
50 Cent has signed a distribution deal with Caroline, the independent label at Capital Music Group. Capitol is one of the many labels that are under the Universal Music Group.
Now that 50 Cent has decided to move on from Eminem & Shady Records, it seems that most of his career was heavily influenced and guided by Eminem and Dr. Dre. His early hits like "In Da Club" and "21 Questions" came from work with Eminem. It will be interesting to see if 50 Cent can channel that creativity again without his rap family surrounding him.
