Derek Jeter has announced that he will be retiring from baseball. Jeter is a baseball legend and has helped to change the game for fans and players alike. He has played for 19 seasons in Major League Baseball for the New York Yankees and has been an unstoppable force on the field.
Jeter was out of most of the season last year with injuries, he only played in 17 games but after much thought and time Jeter officially announced his retirement after the conclusion of this season. Jeter has spent his entire career with the Yankees.
