American Idol stopped its incremental week-to-week slide and easily won the night for Fox, while Criminal Minds jumped 27 percent in viewership for the show's 200th episode.

Fox easily took Wednesday night with a 3.9 in the advertiser important 18-49 demographic and 13.29 million viewers, all for American Idol, reports HitFix.

CBS was a distant second with a 2.1 rating and 10.7 million viewers. Criminal Minds jumped to a 2.8 in the demo for its 200th episode following an encore episode that scored a 1.8 in the demo. CSI followed and benefited a little from its lead-in, ticking up to a 2.0 rating.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC was a third place finisher with an average of 6.7 million viewers and a 1.9 in the 18-49 demo. The Middle slipped to a 2.2 rating, while Suburgatory improved from last week with a 1.7 rating. Modern Family was second of all programs on the night with a 3.5 rating. Unfortunately, Nashville dipped to its previous series low at 1.3 in the demo.

NBC pulled in a 1.5 rating and 5.6 million viewers. How to Raise an Olympian started the night off soft with a 1.1 in the demo and Law & Order: SVU dropped for the night to a 1.8 rating. Chicago P.D. managed to stay consistent with a 1.7 rating.

The CW saw its shows slip and managed only a 0.7 rating and 2.1 million viewers. Arrow dropped to a 1.0 in the demo and The Tomorrow People slipped to a 0.5 demo rating.
