Thursday night saw weak numbers across the board for all networks, with figure skating failing to draw in viewers for the NBC.

NBC and the Winter Olympics dipped slightly to a 4.9 in the important 18-49 demographics and 19.9 million viewers, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The downward tick wasn't harsh for the Olympics, with only a 9 percent drop from the 2010 Vancouver Games.

Fox, however, really struggled for the night as American Idol tumbled 20 percent from last week to a 2.4 in the demo. That rating is the lowest ever for a regularly scheduled episode of the singing competition. The not long for this world Rake also dipped to a new low with a 1.0 rating. Fox averaged 6.6 million viewers and a 1.7 in the demo.

CBS aired only encores for the night, but still managed to be right on Fox's tail with a 1.6 in the demo and 6.626 million viewers, reports HitFix. ABC averaged a miserable 0.8 in the demo and 2.95 million viewers. A new episode of The Taste did managed to stay steady from last week, though, at a 0.9 in the 18-49 demo.

The CW went with repeats for the night and averaged a 0.2 in the demo and 815,000 viewers.
