Shirley Temple Black was a precious child star actress in the 1930’s. She tap-danced and sang and won all of our hearts over at such a young age, and is arguably the most famous and popular child star in history. She began acting at just three-years-old, became famous at the age of six and became a massive box-office star before the age of ten. Her adorable dimples and perfect blonde curly hair made such a popular image among young girls at the time. She retired from film in 1950 at the age of 21 and became active in politics.
Last night, Monday, Feb. 10, the child-star died at the age of 85 in her home in Woodside, California.
Here are celebrity’s reactions on Twitter to the star’s passing.
