Since last month, many states on the east coast have been dealing with dangerous winter storms and the many inches of snow that is left as a result of it and now production of many television shows that are shot in Georgia have shut down production all together.
The Hollywood Reporter reports how shows such as The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Drop Dead Diva and Devious Maids, have all shut down production in Georgia because of the incoming winter storm. The Vampire Diaries and The Originals have only been scheduled to miss one day of production (Thursday, Feb.13). Drop Dead Diva is scheduled to miss two days (Wednesday Feb.12 and Thursday Feb.13). However, Devious Maids will only miss one day of production (Wednesday, Feb.12). Whether or not Devious Maids will run back on schedule on Thursday has yet to be decided.
The Wrap reveals that Drop Dead Diva and Devious Maids are presently shooting their sixth and second seasons respectively. Both shows are shooting a total of 13 episodes each for the season.
