ABC teamed up with Ryan Seacrest and Nina Wass to produce their new television series, Mixology.

According to International Business Times, the series discusses the stories of 10 male and female characters who meet one night. The 13 episode series takes place over the course of this single night in a Manhattan bar. Viewers are going to be able to learn about their favorite and not-so-favorite characters through flashbacks.

During the show’s Television Critics Association coverage, one critic asked if they were anxious to see if viewers would watch the entire series if the series only consisted of watching who is going to hook up with whom as, “the world would go on” without any hookups.

Cast member, Vanessa Lengies joked, “Actually, the world wouldn’t continue if people didn’t get laid.”

This will be Seacrest’s first time producing a scripted television series. However, this does not mean that he believes that there will be an end to reality television just yet.

“Not anytime soon,” Seacrest said about declination of reality television. “I’m reading about Kim Kardashian every day.”

He admitted that his production company, “has a balance slate, we produce a lot of unscripted…[but] we hope to achieve balance.”

Mixology, which is set to premiere Wednesday, Feb. 26, at 9:30p.m. after Modern Family. However, the first two episodes have been posted online so viewers can decide their thoughts before the premiere.
