The New Jersey home of late singer Whitney Houston is back on the auction block.
Houston home purchased the Morris County in 1987 at the height of her fame. Prior to her death in 2012, the house was originally listed by the singer back in 2009 for an astonishing 2.5 million dollars, according to Today. When no offers came forth, took the home off of the market until 2011 when she relisted it for 1.75 million dollars.
Following Houston’s passing, the house was removed for the market for some time until it was recently relisted at the substantially lower price of 1.5 million dollars.
According to UPI, the home was originally purchased for 2.7 million dollars.
The home was heavily featured on the 2005 reality show Being Bobby Brown which starred singer Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston, and members of their family.
The home boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and sits on five acres of land. Unsurprisingly there is a soundproof recording studio within the home.
