Several celebrities have publicly commented on the recent antics of Nymphomaniac actor Shia LaBeouf, and Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith is the latest. Smith has come to LaBeouf’s defense, even saying he tried to go to his “#IAMSORRY” exhibit.
Smith, 15, who’s long rumored to be dating Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kylie Jenner, 16, took to Twitter to say he believes in what the actor is doing right now.
He also reached out to LaBeouf to offer support, writing “I'm Here If You Need A Fellow Insane Person To Talk To.”
I Waited In Line Today On Beverly Blvd To See @thecampaignbook I Never Got See Him But I Had A Very Important Message To Deliver.

I'm Here If You Need A Fellow Insane Person To Talk To. But I'm Seriously Here Not Like One Of Those I'm Here For You's That Everybody Says.

It Was A Message That Only Could Be Understood Artist To Artist. @thecampaignbook I'm Here For You I Believe In What Your Doing.

Smith’s tweets come the same day actor James Franco published a NY Times op/ed in which he wrote he can “empathize” with LaBeouf as a fellow actor.
He called the message he thinks LaBeouf is trying to get across a “worthy one” but only worries “he is careful not to use up all the good will he has gained as an actor in order to show us that he is an artist.”
