Zac Efron recently confirmed that he is in talks with joining the cast of the new Star Wars Episode VII cast.
When the first rumored details of the film began to circulate, they included that the dynamic trio of Ryan Gosling, Leonardo DiCaprio and Zac Efron were being considered for roles in the up-and-coming film.
However, DiCaprio decided to turn down the idea because of his other role in Robotech while Gosling’s representatives joined in by saying “no” to the deal as well.
However, the former High School Musical star recently confirmed he met with Disney to discuss a deal.
In an interview with After Hours with Josh Horowitz, the three leading men of That Awkward Moment discussed which of the three would consider being in a Star Wars movie.
Efron quickly responded with, “I just met with them, so I don’t know. It would be cool.”
A huge fan of the films, he continued, “I love them, but… who knows?”
The film is expected to hit theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
