If you couldn’t get enough of Meryl Davis and Charlie White’s ice dancing during the Sochi Winter Olympics last month, don’t worry. ABC has you covered. Not only has the network recruited the Gold medalists for Dancing with the Stars, but the network will also air ice dancing specials that they will headline.
The network said Wednesday that it was struck a deal with Disson Skating, reports Entertainment Weekly. It includes four two-hour specials, each featuring medalists from Sochi. Of course, though, White and Davis will likely be the featured performers.
Kristi Yamaguchi, who won Dancing with the Stars and Michael Weiss will host each special. The first two will air this fall.
White and Davis became the first Americans to win the Gold medal in ice dancing and scored a record 116.63 from the judges. The two won Silver in Vancouver in 2010 and helped the U.S. win Bronze during the first ever team ice skating competition in Sochi.
Also on Wednesday, the pair were added to the new DWTS cast. While they are used to performing together, they will compete against one another during the show.
DWTS starts on March 17.
