ABC is making changes to their TV lineup starting with Thursday nights. The network will be moving their popular reality TV show, Shark Tank to the 8 p.m. time slot on Thursday from Friday night.

The show will have a special Thursday airing at 8 p.m. on April 10th, which will be part of a two-night event for the reality show. A new eposide will also air the next night at 9 p.m. that Friday, which is the normal time slot for the unscripted reality show.

Sources close to the network believe that this is a trail run for the show to see how it would on Thursday night. Tank has been a huge hit for ABC on Friday night, the show is often a top performer, The Hollywood Reporter added.

This season of Shark Tank is on track to be the best season to date when it comes to ratings. This year the show has already double ratings from this same point last year when it comes to total viewers.

The show has been very successful with launching products. After Scrub Daddy was pitched on the show, the sales for the product increased from $100K to $18M after it appeared on Shark Tank, ABC reported.
