Anne Heche is set to star in the upcoming USA's thriller, Dig. Dig will be six-episodes and is being helmed by Tim Kring and Gideon Raff.
Kring is known for his work on Heroes and Raff has worked on many episodes of Homeland.
Variety reported that Heche will be playing the head of an FBI office in Jerusalem. Her character
will be searching for a religious artifact that can alter the course of history forever.
Jason Isaacs was casted to star along side Heche in the upcoming drama, The Hollywood Reporter added.
The series will go into production in Jerusalem and in other international areas shortly. Dig has a scheduled release date of late 2014 in the United States.
The actress was featured on the NBC comedy Save Me briefly and is currently working as a producer on the upcoming NBC/Universal TV comedy Bad Judge. Judge will be staring Grey's Anatomy alumni, Kate Walsh. Heche can also be seen on screen staring in the upcoming Arthur Newman.
